This was my first mail order of a mature garden shrub. The plant arrived well packaged and lush. I planted it right away (a few weeks ago) and it still looks great. I ordered 2 of these and they both arrived well packaged and healthy. One had a bud starting already. The plants were a nice size, about 12″ tall. I planted them a couple days later and they seem to be fine. I wondered how plants would do in the mail. The plant arrived early, in just a couple of days. The weather in the south was mild that week (January) so it wasn’t exposed to any extremes. It was surprisingly well packaged. The leaves were luxuriantly green and the roots were healthy and plentiful. I planted it two weeks ago and it is flourishing so far. There were no buds on the plant so I won’t see how the blooms look or smell until next year. I can’t wait.
